Satyam about to join $1 bn club
The news about Satyam Computers becoming a $1Bn company is getting hotter in the markets (Indian and International) and among the shareholders.
For those who don't know, Satyam is the first Indian IT company to reach the $1 bn mark in the shortest time.
Satyam is soon going to announce its quarter results on April 21st and probably the $ 1 bn news along with it. While the company's management is happy for this achievement, the shareholders are anticipating bonus shares. But the most interesting topic for discussion among the employees of Satyam (popularly known as 'Satyamites') is what they will get as a bonus or incentive... Recently CTS provided each employee with an iPod... so, Satyamites are expecting something interesting. (any idea Satyamites??)

i think that they would send atmost a mail saying: "we are pleased to announce that your company is now $1billion, and the whole credit goes to all" :D
First of all Satyam isn't the first Indian IT company to reach 1 billion, it is Congnizant to do so!!! That is why Satyam has started mentioning ONE OF THE FIRST IT Companies to reach 1 billion. And as Satyam is promoting its annual fest as Glitz-Gold-Gallata, and all the prizes consist of Gold, we might get Gold only...as said by reliable source, 8 gms ;-)

I doubt cognizant is really an 100% Indian company... may be its now but according to my knowledge its a offspring from some other company which is not Indian...I will be happy if Mr.Anonymous or anyone who can update me if I am wrong...
Well as far as the question of rewards is there... I wish satyam would compete with his rivals :-)
Good patriotism Ankur! You said my point. Cognizant is a new name given to an old company, and it is the fastest to become a $1bn company after getting its new name...
